Description Indication Advant Tablets are indicated for: Hypertension (high blood pressure) Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with a history of heart attack or stroke Dosage The usual dosage for adults is: 8 mg to 16 mg once daily, taken orally with water. It can be taken with or without food. Side Effects Common side effects may include: Dizziness Headache Fatigue Diarrhea Back pain Nausea Cough Precautions Pregnancy: Not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Kidney function: Use with caution in patients with kidney disease. Liver function: Use with caution in patients with liver disease. Electrolyte levels: Monitor potassium levels, as this medication can cause hyperkalemia (high potassium levels).
