Description Indication Aprovel tablets are primarily indicated for: Essential Hypertension: Used to treat high blood pressure when no specific cause is identified. Diabetic Nephropathy: Used to treat kidney disease in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes. Dosage Standard dose: 150 mg once daily. Increased dose: If necessary, the dose can be increased to 300 mg once daily. Side Effects Common side effects include: Dizziness Light-headedness High potassium levels (hyperkalemia) Serious side effects may include: Allergic reactions (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of face/lips/tongue/throat) Severe dizziness or fainting Precautions Pregnancy: Do not use Aprovel if you are pregnant. It can cause harm or even death to the unborn baby, especially during the second and third trimesters. Breastfeeding: It is not recommended to use Aprovel while breastfeeding, as it may pass into breast milk and affect the baby. Kidney Disease: Use Aprovel with caution if you have kidney disease or are on dialysis. Your doctor may need to adjust your dose or monitor your kidney function closely.
