Description Indication: Astin is used to treat: High cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) Prevention of heart disease and stroke by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides, and increasing HDL (good) cholesterol. Dosage: The usual dosage is 10 mg to 20 mg once daily, taken with or without food. It’s important to take it at the same time each day.
