Description Indication Amlodipine/Valsartan is indicated for: Hypertension: To lower high blood pressure in adults. Heart failure: To reduce the risk of hospitalization due to heart failure. Dosage Adults: The usual starting dose is 5 mg/160 mg once daily. The dose may be adjusted based on the patient’s response, with a maximum dose of 10 mg/320 mg once daily. Side Effects Common side effects may include: Swelling of the legs and ankles (edema) Dizziness Headache Fatigue Nausea Precautions Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to amlodipine, valsartan, or any other ingredients.
